格鲁吉亚于2008年5月21日举行了國會选举[1]。在2007年的格鲁吉亚示威活动之后，总统米哈伊尔·萨卡什维利提议就选举时间由秋季提前至春季事项进行公投[2]。该公投与2008年1月5日提前的总统选举同时举行，结果显示，多数选民支持在春季举行國會选举[3]。
中央选举委员会共登记选民3,458,020人[4]，这一数字远高于2004年登记的2,343,087人。此次选举共有14个国际组织和31个本地组织参与监督[5][6]。
