二项式级数

二项式级数是二项式定理的推广，适用于幂不是正整数的情况：

當$\alpha$是任意复数時，右侧的幂级数可以用二项式係數表示。

${\binom {\alpha }{k}}={\frac {\alpha (\alpha -1)(\alpha -2)\cdots (\alpha -k+1)}{k!}}.$

二项式级数是函数的泰勒級數。 $f(x)=(1+x)^{\alpha }$当$|x|<1$ 时，它会收敛。

如果α是非负整数n，则级数中的第x^{n + 1}项及之后的所有项均为0 。在这种情况下，该级数是一个有限多项式。
