保留地犬（英語：Rez dog ，全稱為reservation dog），通常是指生活在美國原住民保留地及加拿大印第安保護區內的 戶外放養犬、流浪犬與野犬。[1] 此一詞彙逐漸衍生出多層次的內涵，在某種程度上成為對保留地、其居民生活方式，以及整體北美原住民的象徵與隱喻。例如，「保留地犬」一詞有時也被用來指稱居住於原住民土地上的人。[2]
保留地犬與一般犬隻之間的區別，經常被視為原住民與主流文化生活方式差異的象徵。[3] 無人看管而在原住民土地上遊走的犬隻，也常造成社區必須面對的問題。[4][5] 這類犬隻通常被認為是混種犬，且缺乏人為監管。[6]
商業與文學中的保留地犬
[编辑]一家名為「Rez Dog Clothing」的服裝公司，即以保留地犬的形象作為品牌風格。[7][8]
在小說家 露易絲·艾爾德里奇的作品《羚羊女子》（Antelope Woman）中，有兩個章節的敘事者被描述為部分為 奧吉布瓦族的保留地犬、部分為 拉科塔族 的犬，並混合了 郊狼 的特質。[9]
