南太平洋

南太平洋是一部由理查德·罗杰斯作曲、奥斯卡·汉默斯坦二世填词的音乐剧。该剧于1949年在百老匯劇院首演。故事改编自詹姆斯·米切纳1947年获得普立茲小說獎的著作。

故事围绕二战期间驻扎在南太平洋岛屿的一位美国护士展开，她爱上了一位中年移居海外的法国种植园主，却难以接受他的混血儿女。故事還提到了一位美国海军陆战队中尉与一位年轻的东京女性之间的爱情故事，但是他擔心與這位亞洲人结婚后可能會遭到別人異樣的目光。整部音乐剧探讨了當時的种族偏见问题。

该剧獲得了十项托尼奖，包括最佳音乐剧奖、最佳配乐奖和最佳剧本奖，也是第一部部同时获得托尼奖全部四项表演类奖项的音乐剧。该剧曾多次成功复排和巡演，并于1958年被改编成电影和电视剧。2008年的百老汇复排版又獲得七项托尼奖，其中就包括最佳音乐剧复排奖。
