多佛學區
多佛学区（Dover Area School District）是位于宾夕法尼亚州约克县的一个中型乡村公立学区。它涵盖了多佛镇（Dover Township）和多佛市（Borough of Dover）。
根据2010年美国人口普查，该学区的人口已增长至25,779人[1]。在多佛学区的人口中（25岁及以上），87%达到了高中毕业水平，而14.7%获得了大学毕业及以上学历[2]。
根据宾夕法尼亚州预算与政策中心的数据，2012年多佛学区内有34.3%的学生生活在联邦贫困线185%或以下的水平，这一数据是根据他们有资格获得联邦免费或低价学校供餐计划来衡量的[3]。

2012年，华盛顿镇教育联盟（Washington Township Educational Coalition）向宾夕法尼亚州约克县普通法院提起请愿，要求启动程序，将华盛顿镇从多佛学区划转至北约克县学区（Northern York County School District）[8][9]。请愿者提出，北约克县学区更优越的教育成果和更低的房产税是请求变更学区的主要动因。据估计，如果该变更获得批准，在接下来的五年内，北约克县学区将净增80万至100万美元的收入[10]。州教育委员会在2017年3月驳回了该请愿[11]，但最终于2021年3月10日发布命令，批准了华盛顿镇的划转请求，并从2021-2022学年起正式生效[12]。
