大众2型（Volkswagen Type 2）是德国大众汽车既金龜車（Type 1）後于1950年推出的第二個大量生產汽車產品，車型為廂型車。首次登場車款為「T1」，於1967年推出「T2」，1979年推出「T3」。T2車款於巴西持續生產至2013年，即使符合排放標準，最終仍由于該國日益严格的安全标准，在同年12月31日劃下了大众2型和大众汽车後置後驅时代的句點[8]。

市場影響
[编辑]作為前置駕駛座的平頭（Cab over）现代厢型车先驱之一，此車款引发汽車製造商爭相效仿。1960年代的美国有福特E系列與同為後置後驅的道奇A100和雪佛蘭科威爾95登場。欧洲與其競爭的則有1950年代的雷诺Estafette和福特全顺，另有早於1947年就登場之雪鐵龍H Van。日本市場也相繼有日產Caravan、豐田LiteAce和速霸陸Sambar等車款登場。
暱稱
[编辑]与金龜車一样，此車款在全球拥有众多昵称，包括車款名稱而來的“Microbus”和“Minibus”[9]，又在1960年代反文化运动中颇受欢迎而被称作“嬉皮车”。在台灣則因圓滑造型稱其為「麵包車」[10]，也出現將其他廠牌車輛改裝成類似外觀的「胖卡」。
Azul
[编辑]一輛T2在美國2025年的加州野火中的一場稱「帕利塞茲大火」後倖存，其藍色的外觀出現在燒毀的建築物間使它登上頭條版面，因此得名「Azul」，在西班牙語和葡萄牙語中意「藍色」。同年7月，福斯汽車發起了將其復元的計畫[11][12]，並於洛杉磯車展展出[13][14]。
