《狱卒》（英語：Jailer）是一部2023年印度泰米爾語動作喜劇片，由尼爾森·迪利普庫瑪執導，卡蘭尼迪·馬蘭透過太陽影業製作，拉吉尼坎特主演一名退休獄卒，著手對付威脅家人安危的一位古怪神像走私犯。演員維納亞坎、拉姆亞·克李希南、塔曼娜·巴提亞、瓦桑斯·拉維、蘇尼爾、約吉·巴布和米爾娜·梅農擔任配角，莫哈恩拉、希瓦·拉吉庫馬與傑基·史洛夫客串演出。
本片的消息於2022年2月正式宣布，暫定名為《酋長169》（Thalaivar 169），是拉吉尼坎特的第169部電影，正式片名於同年6月公開。電影2022年8月在金奈展開主要拍攝，隨後在古德洛尔、海得拉巴、杰伊瑟尔梅尔、门格洛尔、喀拉拉邦拍攝，2023年6月初殺青。本片的音樂曲目由阿尼魯德·拉維昌德譜寫，攝影由維傑·卡爾蒂克·坎南掌鏡，R·尼爾馬爾（R. Nirmal）負責剪輯。

劇情
[编辑]穆圖維爾·潘迪安與家人住在泰米爾納德邦，擔任警務處助理處長的兒子阿俊·潘迪安正在調查瓦爾曼。瓦爾曼是個古怪的黑幫分子，活動基地位於阿拉科纳姆，走私神像並將其賣給海外買家。阿俊與瓦爾曼的親信西努對峙，並逼迫他交代瓦爾曼的下落。就在即將抓獲瓦爾曼之際，阿俊突然失踪，警方為了掩蓋真相，散播謠言稱他可能因工作壓力過大而自殺。

穆圖維爾將瓦爾曼和另一名前罪犯西坎達·辛格派來的一百人逼到瓦爾曼的基地，但瓦爾曼透露阿俊還活著，更威脅要殺死他。兩人最終妥協：瓦爾曼將釋放阿俊，作為交換，穆圖維爾得偷出存放在芒格阿拉吉里一座寺廟中的著名古董王冠。穆圖維爾經過深思熟慮後同意，但要求瓦爾曼派遣兩名手下跟著自己前往海得拉巴，兩名手下隨時向瓦爾曼回報情況。穆圖維爾計劃利用存放王冠的寺廟託管人、影星爆炸莫漢來得到王冠。穆圖維爾藉由各種騙局並在孟買走私者馬修的幫助下，最終獲得了王冠，並讓瓦爾曼的人取走。
瓦爾曼釋放了阿俊，阿俊卻自曝為貪污警察，妄圖插手瓦爾曼的行動，甚至不惜為了錢殺死自己的父親。但王冠是贗品並隱藏著攝影機，穆圖維爾透過攝影機看到了他們之間的整個對話。瓦爾曼得知王冠並非真品後殺死了兩名跟隨穆圖維爾搶劫的人，並試圖殺死阿俊。阿俊反擊後，穆圖維爾與坎德夫、維馬及其盟友襲擊了瓦爾曼的藏身處，殺死了瓦爾曼及其手下。同時，納拉辛哈保護了穆圖維爾的家人，馬修摧毀了瓦爾曼的走私行動。之後，穆圖維爾要求阿俊自首，但阿俊拒絕且打算弒父。在穆圖維爾的信號下，納拉辛哈的人開槍殺死了阿俊，穆圖維爾忍痛離去，同時扔掉了保有阿俊牙齒的紀念墜子。

主題及影響

製作

[编辑]據報導，洛克希·卡納賈拉吉在2019年末拍攝《麻辣教授》（2021年）期間，拜訪了拉吉尼坎特位於金奈的住所，尋求合作的可能[15]。此項目將成為拉吉尼坎特主演的第169部電影，將由卡茂爾·哈桑的拉吉·卡茂爾國際電影公司製作[16]。但COVID-19疫情與拉吉尼坎特對《婚事告急》（2021年）的承諾推遲了電影的上映，洛克希決定改與哈桑合作拍攝《考萊塢之硬漢任務》[17]。
據2021年12月的報導，尼爾森·迪利普庫瑪在完成《狂勇救援手》（2022年）的拍攝後，將執導拉吉尼坎特的第169電影[18]。2022年2月，《印度時報》的一篇報導稱，拉吉尼坎特尚未決定下一部電影，與尼爾森的合作報導並不屬實[19]。但太陽影業於2022年2月10日正式宣布了此項目，暫定名為《酋長169》（Thalaivar 169）[20][21]，證實了尼爾森將與拉吉尼坎特合作[22]。
《酋長169》計劃五到六個月內在不同地點拍攝[23]。《狂勇救援手》上映後的評價不佳，尼爾森的編劇也受到批評，外界猜測他將被趕出《酋長169》，並由另一位導演頂替[24]。本片的製片人否認了此類謠言，並重申尼爾森仍參與其中[25][26]。本片的正式片名為《獄卒》（Jailer），於2022年6月17日宣布[27][28]。拉吉尼坎特在電影上映前獲得了11億盧比的預付款[29]。
前期製作
[编辑]尼爾森於2022年4月起撰寫電影劇本，並在兩個月內完成了前半部分[30][31]。據報導，K·S·拉維庫瑪協助尼爾森創作劇本[32]，但官方海報顯示尼爾森是唯一編劇，間接否認了此類報導[28]。尼爾森在2023年電影伴侶導演展映（Film Companion Directors Adda 2023）圓桌會議上表示，認為本片的主要挑戰其一是讓人們接受拉吉尼坎特扮演自身年齡的角色，大多數業內人士反駁了此想法。但尼爾森說服了他們，有時也略感自信，覺得此方案將會奏效。他還補充道，自己花了一個月的時間來構思中場休息的片段；在此片段中，他的舉止冷靜，並將角色設定得更有趣，這與以往拉吉尼坎特電影形成鮮明對比。[33]

第一階段拍攝展開前，劇組在海得拉巴的拉莫吉影城搭建了用於主要拍攝的佈景[37]。電影2022年7月下旬在金奈展開試拍[38]。著名造型師阿里姆·哈基姆（Aalim Hakim）為拉吉尼坎特設計了造型和人物草圖，而文凱特·拉姆則拍攝了宣傳劇照[39][40]。

2022年4月，拉姆亞·克李希南據報將出演本片[41]。5月，據傳卡納達演員希瓦·拉吉庫馬將飾演關鍵角色[42]，隨後一個月，他被片方正式確認加入演出陣容；本片也是希瓦出演的首部泰米爾電影[43]。6月，曾出演尼爾森之前電影的雷丁·金斯利被外界推測也將參演；雷丁的參演隨後被片方證實，角色尚未透露。[30]
8月初，瓦桑斯·拉維加入演出陣容[44][45]。拉姆亞於同月確認參演，成為她與拉吉尼坎特1999年的《戰士之子》後隔24年再次合作[46]。她回憶起與拉吉尼坎特在《戰士之子》中合作的經歷，並透露所扮演角色的名字，更補充道：「不要期待帕達雅帕（Padayappa）與尼蘭巴莉（Neelambari）[b]之間會有一段羅曼史；這次的兩個角色截然不同，但尼爾森確實成功地用他們創造了一種新的魔力。」[47]據報導，約吉·巴布將在片中飾演角色，此消息已於8月底得到製片公司的確認[48][49]。

拍攝

本片的主體拍攝最初計劃2022年8月3日在海得拉巴展開[62]。但正值海得拉巴的罷工，電影在此地的拍攝被無限期推遲，罷工預計將持續至少三週[44]。8月22日，主要拍攝最終改在金奈展開[63]。因使用需求不高，劇組在金奈的一座影城裡搭建了類似警察局的特殊佈景[64]。據攝影指導維傑·卡爾蒂克·坎南所述，一棟類似20世紀90年代風格的房屋佈景是為主角的家所搭建，電影的前半段大部分的鏡頭皆在此拍攝[34]。為期一個月的行程表9月下旬在金奈完成[65]。之後，劇組轉移到古德洛爾，與拉吉尼坎特和巴布一起拍攝了一小段鏡頭[66]。
到了2022年11月，電影的拍攝已完成了一半，其中三場動作戲將在動作導演特技席爾瓦的監督下拍攝[67][68]。當月，希瓦·拉吉庫馬開始參與拍攝計畫，個人戲份將在四至五天內完成[69]。劇組隨後前往金奈，在當地的阿迪亞拉姆製片廠（Adityaram Studios）拍攝關鍵鏡頭[70][71]。2023年1月，劇組在短暫休息後前往海得拉巴，與拉吉尼坎特及全體演員一起拍攝重要鏡頭[72][73]。月底，團隊前往杰伊瑟尔梅尔拍攝了一場為期十天的的動作場面[74][75]。此後不久，劇組前往門格洛爾短暫拍攝，希瓦·拉吉庫馬也參與其中[76][77]。拉吉尼坎特、希瓦·拉吉庫馬和賈法爾·薩迪克的主要戲份在皮利庫拉吉古圖（Pilikulaj Gutthu）拍攝，此地因拍攝《神秘森林》（2022年）而聞名[76]。此拍攝行程於2023年2月22日結束[78]。

後期製作
[编辑]後期製作工作於2023年6月中旬展開，維納亞坎首先為電影配音[86]。希瓦·拉吉庫馬首次用泰米爾語配音[87]。拉吉尼坎塔在完成《拉爾薩拉姆》（2024年）的拍攝後，開始為本片配音[86]。2023年7月中旬，阿尼魯德開始重新錄製本片的背景音樂[88]。
本片於2023年7月下旬送交中央電影認證委員會（CBFC），片長為169分鐘[89]。據剪輯師R·尼爾馬爾所述，電影在重頭戲中拉吉尼坎特抽雪茄的鏡頭原本較長，且鏡頭對準了拿菸的演員，但這段戲為了遵守CBFC的指導方針而被剪掉了幾秒鐘[90]。
音樂

行銷
[编辑]電影的首張海報於2022年8月22日發表[97]。11月17日，製片公司的社群媒體帳號發表了一段記錄電影製作過程的幕後花絮影片[98]。12月12日，恰逢拉吉尼坎特的生日，製片方發布了一則預告片，介紹了拉吉尼坎塔飾演的角色[99][100]。南方電影伴侶網站的一位評論家指出：「就在我們以為戴著眼鏡的中年獄卒穆圖維爾·潘迪安（Muthuvel Pandian）和普通人一樣日常工作時，他從黑暗中掏出一把鐮刀，預示著我們將迎來一場精彩的演出。這支影片充滿了拉吉尼坎特的復古怪癖，包括招牌的剪影坐姿、走路風格以及超級巨星的標題字卡。」[101]本片透過預告片宣布定檔2023年5月4日上映，同時透露了配角陣容[102]。
繼7月6日歌曲〈你想要嗎？〉發表後[103][104]，塔曼娜·巴提亞在歌曲中表演的勾舞在社交媒體上瘋傳，引發人們搭熱潮翻拍自己的版本[105][106]。戲院老闆認為，〈你想要嗎？〉、〈秩序—指揮官的暴怒〉以及拉吉尼坎特在電影音樂發表會上的講話，都為《獄卒》增添了熱度[107]。2023年8月2日，片方發表了副標題為Jailer Showcase的預告片[108][109]。《印度電影觀眾》雜誌評論此預告片：「拉吉尼坎特在充滿酷炫元素的Jailer Showcase中，大動干戈與壞人搏鬥，形象火爆。」[110]新德里电视台的理查·穆克吉（Richa Mukherjee）表示：「我們對這位超級巨星無可挑剔的演技並不陌生，但預告片中一睹為快的幾場特技讓我們驚嘆不已。」[111]粉絲們也注意到，預告片中並未見巴提亞、莫哈恩拉和希瓦·拉吉庫馬的蹤影[112]。

[编辑]《獄卒》2023年8月10日在印度等地上映[116]。電影原定2023年4月上映，但因製作延遲而改期[117][118]。起初，本片因北印度的泰米爾電影表現不佳，加上將與同一週末的《边关风暴2》與《偶滴神啊2》競爭，導致印地語配音版可能不會在院線上映；但印地語版最終在部分戲院上映。[118]

[编辑]《獄卒》在全球約7000塊銀幕上映，其中印度有4000塊，海外地區有3000塊[119]。本片在票務網站BookMyShow上共售出90萬張票，超過了《边关风暴2》（30萬張）與《偶滴神啊2》（13萬張）[120]。BookMyShow 營運長（Ashish Saksena）表示，本片的預售收入接近2.1億盧比[121]。
本片在泰米爾納德邦800家戲院上映，印度上映率達78.62%[122][123]。泰米爾納德邦戲院與影城業主協會（Tamil Nadu Theatre And Multiplex Owners Association）主席蒂魯普爾·蘇布拉馬尼亞姆（Tiruppur Subramaniam）表示，《獄卒》的預售情況比拉吉尼坎特之前的電影好得多，但比不上創下預售紀錄的《卡巴里》（2016年）[124]。本片在泰米爾納德邦沒有安排早場演出，首場演出於上午九點開始[125][126]。
《獄卒》也創下了卡納塔克邦泰米爾電影的首映記錄，在300家戲院首映，並在早上六點安排特別場次[127][128]。卡納塔克邦的戲院如果按照每天五到六場計算，將首映約2500場[128]。電影在喀拉拉邦將首映300場[129]。本片雖然與《運將老大哥》同時上映，但仍在安得拉邦和泰倫迦納邦約2000家戲院上映[130]。《獄卒》的印地語配音版因新條款允許放映八週OTT窗口期，而未在北印度的全國連鎖影城（PVR INOX和Cinépolis）上映[131]。

爭議
[编辑]2023年7月，導演薩基爾·馬達蒂爾（Sakkir Madathil）聲稱，2021年已在南印度電影商會為一部馬拉雅拉姆電影註冊了《獄卒》一片名，要求製片人卡蘭尼迪·馬蘭更改片名[142]。隨後，導演將問題升級到法庭，對太陽影業使用相同片名提起法律訴訟[143]。最終，兩部電影仍在同一個月以相同的片名上映[144]。
2023年8月，應皇家挑戰者體育私人有限公司（Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited）的請求，德里高等法院命令製片方剪輯或修改職業殺手身穿皇家挑戰者班加羅爾隊球衣並發表厭女言論的橋段。製片方遵照要求，確保自2023年9月1日起，所有戲院、電視、衛星和串流平台的本片皆使用數位修改版。[145]

[编辑]《獄卒》上映首日全球票房收入估計為9.5億盧比，其中5.2億盧比來自印度市場[146][147]。各地首映日票房收入分別為：泰米爾納德邦2.3億盧比、喀拉拉邦5850萬盧比、安得拉邦和泰倫迦納邦1億盧比、卡納塔克邦1.1億盧比、北印度4500萬盧比，而海外票房收入為4億盧比[148]。電影上映第二天的票房約5億至5.5億盧比，與第一天相比下降了47.5%[149]。所有語言的淨收入為2.656億盧比[150]。電影上映第二天的全球票房就突破了10億盧比，加上前兩天的票房，合計為13.5億盧比[151]。上映第三天，印度的票房為3.5億盧比，國內票房淨收入突破10億盧比，上映第三天的全球票房達15億盧比[152]。電影上映四天的全球票房突破30億盧比，8月12日與13日的放映率皆達到86%[153]。
