薮枝螅属（学名：Obelia）为钟螅水母科的一个属。是一类主要生活在海洋和一些淡水中的动物 ，其生命周期包括水螅体和水母阶段。薮枝螅属属于刺胞动物门 ，是结构相对简单、直径约为1 mm的水生（主要生活在海洋中）生物。 目前已知有120个物种，还有更多物种有待发现。[1] 这些物种分为三大类： O. bidentata 、 O. dichotoma 和 O. geniculata。O . longissima 后来被接受为合法物种，但整个属的分类仍存在争议。[1]
除北极高海域和南极海域外， 薮枝螅属遍布全球。 [2] 薮枝螅属的一个阶段在世界各地的沿海和近海浮游生物中很常见。 [3] 薮枝螅属通常生活在水面以下200米（660英尺）深的地方，生长在潮间带岩石池和大潮的极低水位处。
