藏匿伪切叶蚁（学名：Pseudomyrmex elongatus）是伪切叶蚁属的一种，属于之下的伪切叶蚁大眼种团（oculatus species-group），美洲大陸的特有物种。[1][2][3][4][5] 于枯枝上筑巢。[6]
體態描述
[编辑]体型相对较小（HW 0.56-0.68）；头部具茂密点狀，身体不透明；复眼长且碩大（REL≥0.53mm，REL2≥0.73mm）；相对较短且高的腹柄节（PU≥0.79mm）。[7]
棲息地
[编辑]棲息于枯枝中，[6] 分布国家包括：美国、阿根廷、伯利兹、玻利维亚、巴西、哥伦比亚[模式产地]、哥斯达黎加、古巴、厄瓜多尔、萨尔瓦多、法属圭亚那、危地马拉、圭亚那、洪都拉斯、墨西哥、尼加拉瓜、巴拿马、巴拉圭、秘鲁、苏里南、特立尼达和多巴哥、委内瑞拉。[8]
该物种分布于哥斯达黎加到德克萨斯州和牙买加，且已入侵佛罗里达州南部。[6] 佛罗里达州的种团与其他地区的种群分離，佛羅里達的种群分布于沿海红树林，可能是通过浮木飄到达佛罗里达州的。此外，辛伯洛夫（Simberloff）和威尔遜（Wilson）于1969年表明，该物种很可能是獨立红树林小岛的常见和早期居住者，因此必须有在开阔水域上空飞行数百米甚至数千米的习惯。可能在气候变暖时在海湾周围移动。另一方面，群落可以在活树和灌木上的小枯枝中找到，苗木中找到的机会更大。确定一个物种是否为外来或入侵物種的问题体现在细伪切叶蚁（Pseudomyrmex gracilis，著名伪切叶蚁入侵物種）和该物種这两个物种中，该两种目前具有分布重疊的情況。如果细切叶蚁在几十年前被引入佛罗里达州，在系统蚂蚁调查之前，可能会得出该物种是该地区的原产物种的结论。[9]
