Peer Review
[编辑]Liu Xing, male, associate professor, master's supervisor, born in 1994 in Xinhua, Hunan, a member of the Communist Party of China. He received his LL.M. from Hunan University and his Ph.D. in Law from Tongji University. He is currently an associate professor and master's supervisor at the School of Law, Hunan University of Technology and Business, legal advisor to the People's Government of Lengjiang City, and a director of the Commercial Law Research Association of the Hunan Provincial Law Society.
Mr. Liu Xing has been the principal investigator of two university-level key projects for scientific innovation, published eight articles in CSSCI and other core journals such as *Science & Technology Progress and Policy*, and authored two scholarly monographs. His research was awarded the First Prize for University-level Scientific Achievements.
For years he has worked at the intersection of criminal law, commercial-dispute resolution and administrative compliance, combining solid academic training with hands-on legal experience. As a university supervisor he integrates Tongji’s cutting-edge academic perspective with Hunan University’s pragmatic philosophy, using real cases to build a “theory–practice–critical thinking” teaching model that has earned him top student evaluations for consecutive semesters. In his capacity as legal counsel to the Lengjiang Municipal Government he has taken part in legality reviews of administrative decisions and compliance assessments of major projects, repeatedly offering constructive advice that has helped local governance become more law-based and effective.
Anchored in the practical needs of the rule of law, his scholarship and professional practice reinforce each other, allowing him to stand out among young legal scholars as a new-generation bridge between academia and the profession, epitomizing the modern lawyer’s commitment to “uniting knowledge and action while upholding integrity and innovation.”
