[编辑] 尼古拉斯·凯奇（原名尼古拉斯·金·科波拉），生于加州长滩。他从父亲那里继承了意大利血统，而从母亲那里继承了英国和德国血统。他的双亲是奥古斯特·弗罗伊德·科波拉，比较文学教授和著名导演弗朗西斯·福特·科波拉的哥哥，和琼·沃吉尔桑，一个舞蹈家和舞蹈教练。他的哥哥是“万事通”麦克尔·科波拉，一个纽约电台名人（最近在主持WAXQ 104.3，一个纽约的播放古典音乐的电台；代码waxq，频率104.3。）
