乔治皮博迪图书馆位于巴尔的摩约翰·霍普金斯大学内，因其宽广的空间又被称为书本大教堂。
历史
[编辑]图书馆落成于1878年，由埃德蒙·乔治·林德设计，原本是1857年成立的乔治皮博迪研究所的图书馆，不过乔治皮博迪研究所于1982年合并到约翰·霍普金斯大学，自此图书馆便成为大学的大学图书馆。图书馆除提供书本借阅的功能外，还罕见地对外开放入口大厅及阅览室作活动用途。
