精确能源系统公司创立于1980年，专门从事炸药研发及生产，产品涵盖爆破装药及多种高性能炸药[2]。客户群体包括航空航天企业、石油公司以及商业爆破公司[3]。该公司与美国国防部签订多份合约，供应军用炸药[4][5]。仅在2025年9月23日，国防部便向精确能源系统公司授出一份价值1.2亿美元的合约，用于采购TNT[6][7]。爆炸发生前，精确能源系统公司约有75名员工[8]。

出事设施位于田纳西州希克曼县，靠近汉弗莱斯县交界，占地约1300英亩（530公顷），毗邻巴克斯波特泉[4]。全厂共设有8座建筑，负责生产、储存、研究及测试炸药[3]。产品包括C4炸药及TNT[8]。

爆炸

美中夏令时间2025年10月10日上午7时48分，精确能源系统公司园区内一栋建筑发生大爆炸并被完全摧毁[12]。爆炸升起的浓烟巨大，甚至被WSMV-TV的天气雷达侦测到[13]。直升机航拍显示，现场有多辆受损车辆和焦黑的残骸[14]。距离爆炸地点多达20英里（约32公里）的门铃摄像机都录下了巨响和镜头剧烈晃动。包括烟酒枪炮及爆裂物管理局、国土安全部、田纳西州调查局和联邦调查局在内的多个部门均派员到场[15][16]。由于现场仍持续发生次生爆炸，救援人员一度无法进入[17]。爆炸最终导致建筑内16人丧生[18][7]，另有4至5人受伤[19]。
