Microsoft Binder，曾经是Microsoft Office办公室套装软件的一套应用程序，让用户能将不同种类的文件打包在单一文件中。Binder起先是以Microsoft Office 95的附属工具形式一同推出[1]，并在Microsoft Office 2000推出后停止开发。
命名与功能
[编辑]Binder取名自实体的活页夹（英语：binder），用户在启动软件后，能够在画面的左方窗格加入Word文件、Excel表格、PowerPoint演示稿、或是其他现有的文件，并在右边的窗格中进行编辑。
当切换不同种类的文件时，右边窗格的功能表与工具栏也会随之改变；用户也可以选择在原本的应用程序中打开[2]。整理过后的活页夹可以存储成扩展名为.obd的活页夹文件，并透过电子邮件、磁片或光盘提供给他人编辑或阅览，或是以连续页码的方式打印[1]。
技术原理
[编辑]Microsoft Binder使用了对象链接与嵌入 (OLE) 2.0技术。只要系统里有安装的软件支持，就可以将该软件制作的文件嵌入Binder中，而不限于由Microsoft Office所制作的文件。IBM所开发的IBM Lotus Word Pro也曾经支持于Binder嵌入文件的功能[3]。
发展
[编辑]虽然Binder在许多OLE技术文件中都被当作标准示例[4]，但此格式仍然并不普及。
自Microsoft Office 2000起，Binder不再是默认安装的软件之一；用户需要自行从安装程序中选择安装Binder。
在Microsoft Office XP与Microsoft Office 2003推出时已经不再包含Binder[5]。用户仅能透过安装Office XP随附的Unbind工具程序，将Binder文件夹中的文件解压缩到指定的目录中[6]。
Microsoft Office 2007以后不再随附Unbind工具程序，微软网站的下载页面[7]现也已移除。
