表現主義建築

表現主義建築是20世紀初歐洲興起的一種建築風格，與表現主義視覺藝術和表演藝術同時興起，並在德國尤為盛行。

儘管表現主義建築風格千差萬別，但許多特點在表現主義建築作品中反覆出現，並在每個表現主義建築中或多或少地體現出來。例如這些建築常呈現融合多種概念，難以歸為單一理念^[1]；而且更趨近哥特式建築，同時兼具羅曼式建築與洛可可特質；表現主義建築常從例如洞穴、山巒、閃電、晶體與岩層等地質形態^[2]汲取靈感，因此與同時期新藝術運動偏向繁複的裝飾風格不同，表現主義建築更強調礦物質感。
