計算機教育是指教授與學習計算機科學學科[1][2][3][4][5][6]及計算思維的領域[7][8][9]。該領域涵蓋了廣泛的主題，從基礎的編程技能到高級的算法設計和數據分析。隨着技術發展與社會需求的增長，計算機科學教育正迅速發展，並在培養學生適應科技行業及其他需要計算能力的職業方面發揮着關鍵作用[10]。
計算機教育對於學生準備進入21世紀職場至關重要。隨着科技日益融入社會各個層面，對具備計算機技能的專業人才的需求也在不斷增長。根據美國勞工統計局的數據，2021年至2031年，計算機及信息技術相關職位的就業預計將增長21%，遠高於所有職業的平均增速[11]。
除了為學生進入科技行業做好職業準備外，計算機教育還能夠培養計算思維能力，這在商業、醫療和教育等多個領域均具有重要價值。通過學習算法化思考與系統性問題解決方法，學生能夠提升解決問題的能力與批判性思維水平，成為更加高效的問題解決者與思考者。
