Gunship是一支英國合成器浪潮樂隊，由Dan Haigh和Alex Westaway於2014年創立；後來鼓手Alex Gingell也加入了該樂隊[1]。該樂隊已以自己的廠牌「Horsie in the Hedge」發行了三張錄音室專輯[2]。
歷史
[編輯]2010年，Westaway和Haigh的另一支樂隊Fightstar暫停演出後，兩人決定專注於其他音樂事業，包括組建Gunship樂隊，Gingell最終也加入了樂隊。他們的首張同名專輯〈Gunship〉於2015年發行，第二張專輯《Dark All Day》則於2018年10月5日發行。[3]
2019年，Gunship樂隊出現在紀錄片〈The Rise of the Synths〉中，該片探討了合成器浪潮音樂流派的起源和發展。Westaway、Haigh 和Gingell與其他多位該領域的作曲家一同出演，約翰·卡本特參與了影片的主演和旁白配音。[4]
2021年5月，紋身藝術家兼模特Kat Von D與Haigh合作推出了她的首張專輯〈Love Made Me Do It〉 。[5]
2023年7月10日，樂隊宣布發行第三張錄音室專輯〈Unicorn〉 。該專輯於2023年9月29日發行。[6]
除了傳統的音樂錄影帶外，Gunship還嘗試了一系列藝術手法，包括定格動畫、黏土動畫、8位動畫和AI生成動畫等等。這些影片通常融入電子遊戲和80年代文化的影響或元素。[7]

[編輯]Gunship擁有大量的合成器，包括Roland Juno-106、Dave Smith Instruments Prophet 12和Prophet 6、Moog Minimoog、Mother 32以及各種Oberheim設備。[8]
