2022年3月，《综艺》杂志报导指出安德斯·穆斯切蒂、芭芭拉·马希提与杰森·福克斯正在为HBO Max开发并担任执行制作一部以2017年电影《小丑回魂》为前传的电视剧，剧名为《欢迎来到德利镇》（Welcome to Derry）。该剧设定于1960年代，时间上早于电影情节，并将探讨小丑潘尼怀斯的起源故事。[9][10]
