L9A1自动手枪（英语：Pistol Automatic L9A1）为英国在1962年以后，为其服役的比利时勃朗宁大威力半自动手枪军用版本的命名。
历史
[编辑]在二战期间，加拿大的英格利斯大威力半自动手枪主要被英国空降部队以及秘密行动组，或是诸如在特别行动处（英语：Special Operations Executive，简称：SOE）、美国战略情报局的职员和英国空降特勤队突击队队员所采用。
在北约国家同一时间使用勃朗宁大威力半自动手枪的时候，英国军队于1954年正式采用该枪，作为军用制式手枪。
设计
[编辑]L9A1在套筒左侧印有“L9A1自动手枪”（英语：Pistol Automatic L9A1）的标记[1]，后来配备了更为符合人体工程学的Mark 2型的能左右手操作型保险和握把。[2]
采用
[编辑]L9A1从1960年代后期，开始取代在英国服役的英格利斯衍生型。
这两种型号一起持续在英国军队服役，直到英格利斯衍生型最终于1980年代后期撒装，而L9A1已被SIG P226及第四代格洛克17所取代[3][4][5][6]。
除了英军[7]，L9A1同时成为遍及英联邦国家军队的制式手枪[8]。
