粒線體載體是存在於粒線體膜中用於將各類化學物質轉運進出粒線體的溶質載體家族蛋白質，不同粒線體載體負責轉運的物質一般是不同的。[1]這些定位在粒線體內膜中的載體蛋白，除了能轉運各種分子還可以參與能量的傳遞。粒線體載體包括ATP/ADP轉位酶（ATP/ADP Translocase）、磷酸載體蛋白（phosphate carrier protein，PHC）、α-酮戊二酸/蘋果酸載體蛋白（2-oxoglutarate malate carrier protein，OMC）以及褐色脂肪組織粒線體中的解偶聯蛋白等，它們不論在結構上還是在轉運機制上都有一定的相似之處。[2]這幾種蛋白質都有相關序列，同屬一個
